2003 and, believe it or not, our first trip through the Channel Tunnel! We're less than an hour from Waterloo (London) so, on the train all the way to within a twenty minute walk of our Hotel in the centre of Brussells. Lovely City and nice, friendly people. Plenty of sites to see (all within a good walk) and a trip to Waterloo (Belgium) must not be missed. Present day Waterloo has not been drowned in a sea of building and the names of places read about in History books come alive when travelling around there. One day is NOT enough, would love to go back and spend a long weekend in Waterloo itself.
