On the beach at Marathon

1994. To be honest, a bit of a disappointment. The Time Share we stayed in (The Golden Coast) was pretty good and the weather was also pretty good but we like a bit of local colour to wander out to and there was only one (very small) local restaurant. We ate there rather than eat on the site but not enough variety. No local shops so we had to travel to see anything. Went to Athens (again!), didn't check to see if it was 26 miles and 385 yards! Still, we met some nice people including a couple (Cynthia and Don) who we have met up with more than once since (in Tenerife, never in England). WE VISITED CYNTHIA AND DON IN ENGLAND IN 2007.
