The Inner Hebrides and the Isle of Mull. Edna had been there before but I hadn't. Tobermory, "A picture postcard Town". It was! With the good weather we were having we were a bit peeved that we'd booked all these trips (we had decided, before we came, that if the weather was rough it would be better to be on an organised coach trip). Anyway, today it was the "MacLean Clan Castle and Scenic Drive". I'll be honest, I thought this was expensive for a 45 minute trip each way and a visit to Duart Castle (probably explains why there were only 16 people on the coach) but it was, again, a great trip with an excellent guide (ex-Glaswegian but we didn't hold that against him!). We steeped ourselves in the history of the MacLeans and, funnily enough, a week after we got home the "Blighty" Channel had a Scottish Season which included a history of individual Clans. Needless to say, we watched the one about the MacLeans.

No lunch was provided but we had a drink and a home made cake in the Visitor Centre and when we got back to Tobermory had a short time to wander around the Town. I'm not going to say that it gets better but, it doesn't get any worse! Every stop so far has been a joy.
