The early to mid 60s were my late teens "romantic" years. Gene ("Just one smile" etc.) were my anthems. I didn't see Gene until the 80s, took Edna - she wasn't a fan BUT, after seeing this sexy grey haired God she was! Never mind, I still thought he was great and bought about a dozen CDs. "Only love can break a heart" was a bit earlier than my Fandom but I have to admit that it's the one that now does the business.
