I have to be honest, Johnny is a favourite only because of a cover version of Clown Shoes! Obviously I'd heard him (especially Dreamin' and You're Sixteen) but had never taken too much notice. Then I heard Clown Shoes by PJ Proby (a great favourite who actually wrote Clown Shoes). It was a flip side but I followed it up and found JB. I only have a couple of CDs by JB but now consider myself a bit of a fan.
