As it coincided with Edna's birthday, and we jusr wanted to see what a REALLY big ship was like we booked an 11 night trip around the Western Med calling at Gibraltar, Civitavecchia, Monte Carlo, Barcelona and Lisbon with sister Ann and brother in law Michael.
The weather was excellent (34 in Italy) although a bit windy. Nowhere we hadn't been before so didn't do any trips and (to be honest) were glad to get home. We weren't impressed with Cunard when we went on the QE2 and nothing happened here to change our minds.
