2015 Saga Sapphire Gallipoli Cruise

Taken ashore by tender today. Had to wait for an hour before our number was called and, to be honest, were a bit disappointed with the town. There were several restaurants but none (that we saw) that were "Greek" in appearance. We know that restaurants cater for tourists but we do like them to have a touch of "authenticity"! No souvenir type shops and the pavements were almost non existent so we spent a lot of the time waiting while traffic went by. There was an attractive looking ruined castle on a hill but we decided it would be too much of a trek for us (oh dear, the difference between our holidays now and 20/30 years ago). Got the tender back to the ship and had a bit of a sun bathe.
