Having missed the opportunity of visiting the Gallipoli Battlefields in 2008 we decided that we had to go back and booked a 33 night cruise to commemorate the Centenery of the Gallipoli Landings. An absolutely wonderful experience including a most moving service on Anzac Day, anchored at sea close to Anzac Cove, when 71 Aussies on board (Saga had teamed up with an Australian Travel Company) sang the Aussie National Anthem, Dame Kiri te Kanawa sang the Kiwi National Anthem (she was indeed on board and gave us a show in the evening) and we all sang "God save the Queen". A great day on a great cruise. We visited El Ferrol, Cartagena, Palma, Cagliari, Piraeus, Mykonos, Canakkale, Thessaloniki, Lemnos, Istanbul, Heraklion, Valletta and Gibraltar.
