After over 4 years without a Saga Cruise
I went on one of the new ships with sister Ann. Sadly, after a long
illness, Edna had died in March so I wasn't really sure that I wanted
to go. This cruise had been booked a couple of years before but, because
of covid, was delayed. Got on board and felt "at home" within
24 hours. Lots of the crew we'd met before so, excellent.
A bit of a bonus, on the last formal night Ann
and I were invited to dine with Staff Captain Denis Tonchev, together
with Louise Gibson (a member of staff) and two other passengers. A very
convivial evening.
The entertainment seemed to have improved slightly
from our most recent cruises and it was nice to see that the Lirica
Piano Quartet were on board (had seen them in 2017 and 2019) although
lead violinist Lillia was the only surviving member from the earlier
cruises.

the greatest photo!)
